Madelyn's 6th birthday!

So yesterday we went to Amy's house for a party for Madelyn! Zach and Madelyn have 1 week between their birthdays! We had pizza, cupcakes that were adoreable, and the kids had a blast on the waterslide in their backyard! I even let Zach slide down it with Kate...with Rich's help! Zach thought it was awesome but Kate was not quite so sure! They had a blast and took good naps when we got home that were very much needed! Happy Birthday Madelyn!!!

More Baptism pics...

My Grandma made the trip from the Quad Cities as well! She's such a trooper! I got a few pics of Kate with her cousin Brynn. Brynn didn't quite know how to take Kate being soooo close to her! Zach enjoys holding Brynn as well!

Brynn's Baptism

On Sunday, Brynn was baptized! The dress she is wearing was made by Lisa's mom. This was Zach and Kate's first time going to Bryan and Lisa's new church. Brynn was especially good during her baptism. Here are some photos of the actual baptism and then we went back to Bryan and Lisa's for lunch! The kids had a great time in the pond at their house!

Pre Ball Picture Day!!!

So last Saturday Zach had a game at 9:00...at least so I thought. We got to the field and couldn't find coach or any of his fellow team members. That might be because the game didn't start until 10:15!!! We were a LITTLE early! Oh well! I'm sure that has happened to everyone at some point. Right?! Here are a few pics from that day!

4th Fun Continued...

Fourth of July Fun!

Sorry that it's been awhile! You'd think I'd be able to post more often! :) At any rate, we went home to the Quad Cities for the 4th! It was a good time and the weather finally cleared out later in the day! The annual parade went on, and Grandma and Grandpa took Zach to see Uncle Chris driving the fire truck! It was still raining at that point so Matt and I stayed home while Kate took a nap! It was a sacrifice but someone had to do it! Later in the day, the rest of the family came over and Zach had SO much fun playing with his "girl" cousins! We had our own fireworks display and the kids loved it! Kate surprisingly enjoyed the fireworks as well. She just sat in my arms and watched! It was so relaxing! Who thought I would use Kate and relaxing in the same sentence! She is getting in her two front teeth and working on her back molars at the same time! That is NOT so much fun...but we're getting through it!
