Kate's 1st Fishing Trip

When we asked Kate what she wanted to do for her birthday, she replied that she wanted to go fishing!  Zach and Matt were thrilled! Here's a few pictures of the day...Matt and Kate were the only ones who were lucky with catching fish!  Zach caught a shoe!  They all had a great time!

4th of July

I know that these last few posts are not in order...I'm just trying to catch up! :)  For the 4th, we went to Uncle Joe's and Aunt Selena's annual party and had a great time!  The kids love swimming there and love playing with their cousins!  Zach loves the fireworks (which makes my Uncle Joe VERY proud) and Kate still covers her ears and is not exactly thrilled with them!  At any rate, it's a great time!

Zach's New Pet

For Zach's birthday this year, he wanted a Gecko lizard!  He named him Spike!  Both kids love this lizard!  For the record, we now have: 2 dogs, 3 gold fish (who are like 4 years old!!!), and now a lizard.  We have our own mini zoo over here!!!  Kate and Zach are both trying to talk us into getting a cat...pretty sure that's NOT happening!

Zach's 1st day of 3rd Grade!!!

Wow...it's hard to imagine that Zach is already in 3rd grade. For some reason, that just seems impossible!

The pool!

We got a pool this summer for the kids...they LOVED it!  We spent many afternoons and evenings out in the back yard!
